Two years ago ...

As I wrote the beginning and ending dates of this great man's life, the gravity of his passing floods me with memories. This week has been a reflection of the past, of his life he lived long and well that was filled with challenges, love, hard work, laughter, and sometimes even sadness. A life that molded my own with the love and support he always provided for his family. He filled a void in my life and was as much a father to me as he was a grandfather. Q&A with Shannon Harris

The name “full circled” was created to embody both the upcoming event of the Grace Gallery’s one year anniversary as well as the amazing tapestry God has a way of weaving  together. He continues to prove to me time and time again that the 25 years I have devoted to being a creative, Has been a divine plan all along.  He is breathing new life into projects, people and relationships {ie #tribe}.   As we approach spring and this Easter season what a perfect time to see His glory revealing all the amazing blessings. Going for 2019!

In my 25 years of painting and the last few years as a full-time artist many things have spoken to me, but nothing more so than a photo I recently ran across. When you go through something in your life that is hard, it can make you stronger or it can leave you bitter. Yesterday, I found a photograph of my son, Cooper, as a toddler. It awakened something in my soul that allowed me to remember where I was mentally during that season of my life. I couldn't even recall the holiday outfit he was wearing as I was struggling with other circumstances in my life at the time. I am so thankful for that as it brought me to where I am...
